Sheryl Chinowth is CEO and co-founder of Chinowth & Cohen Realtors. The brokerage opened in August of 2004 with one office and twenty-five Sales Associates. Since that time, Chinowth & Cohen Realtors has grown to over 350 associates and six offices. The company ranks as one of Oklahoma’s largest Real Estate companies. For six consecutive years, Chinowth & Cohen Realtors was voted “Best of the Best” Real Estate Company in Tulsa by the readers of the state-wide publication Oklahoma Magazine.

Chinowth & Cohen Realtors is actively involved in Tulsa and surrounding communities. Most recently, Sheryl was honored with the prestigious “Extraordinary Philanthropist” Award which is given to the Luxury Real Estate member who consistently displays altruistic concern for human welfare and generosity to socially responsible pruposes. Over the years, Sheryl has given back to her community through her involvement with the Junior League, the American Cancer Society, local hospitals, police departments, public schools, food banks, Habitat for Humanity, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, Light the Night for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, The American Red Cross, Susan G. Komen Foundation and many other organizations. In addition, Sheryl Chinowth created the ‘C&C Ambassadors’ committee within her company to support and encourage philanthropy in the community.

Sheryl currently serves on the Grievance Committee and the Board of Directors for the Oklahoma Association of Realtors. She is a member of the Grievance and PR Committees and Square Footage Task Force for the Greater Tulsa Association of Realtors. Sheryl also serves on the Realtors and Homebuilders Task force for Greater Tulsa Home Builders Association, and is a member of the Women Council of Realtors. Sheryl was also a founding member of the Tulsa Executive Women’s Federation. She is also a member of the National Real Trends Leadership Council and is a Certified Residential Specialist.

Lee Cohen is currently CFO and co-owner of Chinowth & Cohen Realtors. The firm presently has over 350 sales associates and six offices throughout the Tulsa Metro Area. A veteran in the real estate industry with over 27 year’s experience, Lee has a proven record for successfully marketing residential and commercial properties.

In the 1990’s Lee owned a commercial brokerage in Miami Florida. It was during this time, he created a REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) which went public in 1996. In 1999, upon his arrival to Tulsa, Lee worked at various residential and commercial brokerages, eventually, partnering with Sheryl Chinowth to form Chinowth & Cohen Realtors as well as C&C Commercial Realtors. In 2005, Lee received his Oklahoma Brokerage license.

Since inception, Chinowth & Cohen Realtors has received numerous awards. For the past 4 years, 2007-2010, Chinowth & Cohen Realtors was named Best of the Best by the state-wide publication Oklahoma Magazine. 2008-2010, the company has been named Best of Local Business by the U.S. Local Business Association (USLBA).

Currently Lee is active in the Greater Tulsa Area of Realtors (GTAR) RCA Committee, Legislative Committee and RPAC Committee. He is also a member of the Oklahoma Association Realtors Finance committee. Nationally, Lee is a member of the Real Trends Leadership Council, a real estate consulting and communications company considered to be a leading source of analysis and information on the residential brokerage industry.
